Family Search Family Tree ([1]) identifies this Nathaniel Brewer as Nathaniel, son of Richard and Elizabeth Brewer, christened 22 Feb 1753 in Padstow, Cornwall. However, that Nathaniel may be the one who married Elizabeth Hocking in Padstow 4 Nov 1783. There was also a Nathaniel Brewer christened 4 Sep 1747 in Saint Ervan, Cornwall, the son of Nicolas and Elizabeth Brewer. Saint Ervan is about 5 miles closer to Mawgan in Pydar than Padstow is (4.5 miles vs. 9.5 miles).
