    "Mr. Nathan Davis. Mr Davis, from Concord, was an early settler of Rutland; he lived a few years on a farm that was afterwards owned by his brother Ephraim, which he sold, and bought the mill farm, where he lived until his death. Mr. Davis, on Nov. 27, 1737 [sic, 1735 per VRs], was married to Ellen Hubbard, daughter of Capt. Hubbard, by whom he had the following children: Nathan, Isaac, Azubah, Ellen, Abel, Jonathan, Jonas, second Jonas, Thomas, Second Isaac, Thaddeus, Alpheus, and William. His descendants are numerous."
