Nathan B. Cooper was born in Del. Co. Ohio, September 25, 1852 and was the thirteenth child of James and Lucinda Cooper. He was one of the four Cooper children that migrated west and remained there. After leaving Fountain Co. he evidently settled in Delavon, Ill. for it was there that he married Mary Etta Kelly who was born August 16, 1855 in Fountain Co. and passed away January 6, 1939 in Abilene, Kansas where they resided. She was the daughter of John and Sarah Bever Henry. This is another connection to the Bever Family and is why I added the information on them even though they are not in my direct line, but because of so many connections I felt it should be added since I had it. Nathan passed away April 30, 1917 also in Abilene and they were both laid to rest in Pawnee City Nebraska.
