[Note: one unsourced website (assuming the three consecutive births from this family, on this page and the next, are in order), assumes this is 1770, but it does not appear to be justified from the copy and it seems unlikely due to Nathaniel's birth 11 months before. It is recorded following a date in 1777, so clearly after the fact, so nothing can be taken from the context of the surrounding records. Nothing is known of what happened to Nathan, such as an age at death, etc., to provide any hints. Keeping the assumption they are recorded in order, 1771 seems much more likely than 1770, since Sarah is not born until late 1772, 18 months after the 1771 date. But this is all speculative.]
