↑ On 29 Oct 1794: Elijah Bridges, son of Edmond Bridges, made choice of Benjamin Drury as his guardian [Worcester Probate 7114]. This suggests Edmond was definitely deceased by then, and since this probably was occasioned by Elijah surpassing 14 and being able to choose his own guardian, he may have died considerable before this. The baptism of Charlotte in 1786 calls her an orphan which usually meant the father (i.e., not necessarily both parents) had died.
