  4.   Hudson notes that a Nathan Blodgett of Cambridge m. Cambridge 27 Apr 1775 Mary Whitmore, which is about when this Nathan might have married for the first time. His first wife, unnamed in the death record, d. about 1790. How Hudson concluded her maiden name is Severs is not explained, and does not fit the above marriage.
