    Vol. 1, p. 15.

Nathan Ball Son to James Ball and Lydia Ball was Born January the 5 - 1774.

  2. There are two Nathan Balls, one b. Shrewsbury 1762, on b. Warwick 1774. The second Nathan is a little young to marry in 1793, and about 6 years younger than his wife. Allred, p. 19, however, shows the younger Nathan as the husband. Little evidence has been found, but circumstantially, this appears right. According to the records of Warwick, Nathan and Jane had children in Athol in 1800 and 1801, and in the probate file of James Ball, Nathan's receipt to the executor was dated 1801 in Athol.
  3. Various websites list the date of death as 28 Jan 1826 at Geneva, NY. One cites the New England Ball Project, but their website cites a GEDCOM, so not particularly credible and no gravestone located.
