    NANCY ELLEN TOTTEN was the daughter of JOSEPH TOTTEN and NANCY DAVIS who lived near Gunn's chapel close to the mouth of Paint Lick Creek. Her father was a fine man and the family was known for its native intelligence.She married Attorney Robert McAfee Bradley December 08, 1833 in Garrard Co. Kentucky.They were the parents of eight children their son Gov./Senator William O'Connell Bradley was the first republican Governor to be elected in the state of Ky.
