It may well be that Minerva was the daughter of a relative; there were quite a few Taulbees on the Index with the following spellings: Talby, Taulby, Taulbee, Talbee.

Looking at this list, it sticks out that Minerva's last name is spelled differently than most of the others. I wonder how distantly she is related to William Barry Taulbee, if at all.
