There are two Nancy Reads born in Rehoboth (to Nathan and Hannah, to Nathaniel and Anna), at least one more in Attleborough (to Joel and Chloe) close to the estimated birthdate. Source:Morris, Gordon Alan. Descendants of William Sabin of Rehoboth, Massachusetts, p. 137, says she was born 6 Mar 1783 (without identifying her parents). This would make her the daughter of Nathaniel and Anna, but Nathaniel and Anna have a daughter Nancy whose birth is recorded in Attleborough on 29 Oct 1785 based on a family Bible. The information in Attleborough based on this family Bible differs from what is recorded in Rehoboth (e.g., besides the noted discrepancy, the Bible apparently shows no sibling named Daniel), and more research is needed.
