NANCY HUNTLEY FULLER
Nancy Mildred, youngest daughter of Clark W. and Anna Huntley, was born near Chariton on March 10, 1913 and departed this life at the Still Osteopathic hospital in Des Moines on March 13, 1954, after a lingering illness of several months.
She attended rural school near Chariton and graduated from North high school in Des Moines in 1930, followed by two years at Drake University.
In early womanhood she gave her heart to God and continued steadfast in her faith in her Heavenly Master to the last.
On November 6, 1943, she was united in marriage to Earl Fuller in Trenton, Mo. They established their home in Des Moines and to this union was born a daughter, Barbara Anne, age nine; and a son, Charles Huntley Fuller, age seven.
She leaves to mourn her passing, besides her loving husband and young children, a sister, Mrs. Mary Larson of Chariton and a brother, Mark Huntley; a niece, Mrs. Dorothy Wells and a great-niece, Claudia Jo Wells, all of Guthrie Center, and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, a brother, Willard Lyman Huntley and a sister, Jeanette Huntley Doran.
She will be greatly missed in her home and by her neighbors and many friends and relatives for her sunny, happy disposition.
Funeral services were held at the Lilly funeral home in Des Moines Tuesday morning, conducted by the Rev. J. Olmstead of Des Moines with burial in the Chariton cemetery. Graveside services were conducted by the Rev. Clayton P. Shepard of the Chariton Christian church.
