Have Pension Application for Martin's CSA death

Our most authoritative resource, [Pierre Chastain and His Descendants ], volume 2, page 590 shows Nancy Hamilton (b. October 18, 1826; m. February 4, 1847; d. February 15, 1915) to be the daughter of Josh Hamilton and Edy Shelnut. I could find no different information in our other sources nor any mention of her being a Shelton. Perhaps her mother's maiden name created confusion somewhere along the way. I hope this is helpful.
