    Will Abstracts, Bladen County, NC. Ann Plummer. (Note of Musgrove Jones to be divided equally among my five children) Executor: William Singletary. Witnesses: James Bryan, Musgrove Jones.

    Musgrove was a witness to the Will of Travis W. Harvey on 6 Mar., 1805.

    26 MAR., 1850.
    Will Book, NC, pages 205 - 208. The Will reads as follows: In the Name of God "Amen". I, Musgrove Jones, of the State of North Carolina and County of Balden, Planter, being of sound and disposing mind though weak in body do make and publish this as my last Will and Testament. I wish my body decently buried and funeral expenses paid and all my debts paid. I give to my loving sons in law, Samuel Cain and Peter Cain, one negro man named Mingo, about forty five years of age, to them and their heirs forever. The said negro man to be kept by them so that each of them may receive an equal proportion of his services. I give to Samuel Cain two cows and three young cattle. I give to Peter Cain, one bed and furniture. I give to my son in law, Isaac Jessup, one negro man named Jack, to him and his heirs forever. I give to my son, David Jones, my River plantation known by the name of the Plummer land, containing one hundred acres ?? the same more or less, joining the lands of James Johnson, James Ellis, and Simon Bu?nes to him and his heirs forever aith? all the improvements thereunto belonging. Nov. Term 1852.
