Will of Moses Knighton, King George Co WB A, P 45-46 Nov 9, 1753 My transcription of original-sgs In the Name of God, Amen, I, Moses Knighton, of Hanover Parish,in the County of King George, being of perfect mind & memory,thanks be to God for the same, I do make and ordain this to bemy last Will and testament, in manner and form following, astouching my worldly goods, my debts first being paid.

Item: I give and bequeath to my well beloved daughter AnnBaker, one cow and calf.

Item: I give and bequeath unto my well beloved daughterMargaret Knighton, one cow and calf, and one feather bed andfurniture.

Item: All the rest of my whole estate real and personal I leaveand bequeath to my well beloved wife, Elizabeth Knighton duringher widowhood, and after to be equally divided amongst ALL MYCHILDREN.

Ratifying and confirming this to be my last Will and Testament,revoking all other wills and bequests formerly made by me.

In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 9thday of November, 1753, my estate not to be appraised nor anyinventory made.

At a court held for King George County, the 5th day of June,1755, the within last Will was presented into court by ElizabethKnighton, his widow and proved by the Oath of Andrew Hilton, itis admitted to record.

My Note-Not all of Moses Knighton's children were named in thisWill-Several sons of Moses Knighton, Sr. went to South Carolinaabout the same time as Mason Greening, where their names appearin several documents together-See Mason Greening page Moses Knighton Jr died 1793 Fairfield Co, SC; Isaac KnightonDied 1790 Fairfield Co, SC, John Knighton died 1793 & ThomasKnighton died 1776. The Knighton families were also members of the High Hills ofSantee Baptist Church as Mason Greening & Wife at the same time.
