Will of Moses Knighton, King George Co
WB A, P 45-46, Nov 9, 1753
In the Name of God, Amen, I, Moses Knighton, of Hanover Parish, in the County of King George, being of perfect mind & memory, thanks be to God for the same, I do make and ordain this to be my last Will and testament, in manner and form following, as touching my worldly goods, my debts first being paid.
Item: I give and bequeath to my well beloved daughter Ann Baker, one cow and calf.
Item: I give and bequeath unto my well beloved daughter Margaret Knighton, one cow and calf, and one feather bed and furniture.
Item: All the rest of my whole estate real and personal I leave and bequeath to my well beloved wife, Elizabeth Knighton during her widowhood, and after to be equally divided amongst ALL MY CHILDREN.
Ratifying and confirming this to be my last Will and Testament, revoking all other wills and bequests formerly made by me.
In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 9th day of November, 1753, my estate not to be appraised nor any inventory made.

At a court held for King George County, the 5th day of June, 1755, the within last Will was presented into court by Elizabeth Knighton, his widow and proved by the Oath of Andrew Hilton, it is admitted to record.

Moses Knighton Jr died 1793 Fairfield Co, SC;
Isaac Knighton Died 1790 Fairfield Co, SC,
John Knighton died 1793 &
Thomas Knighton died 1776.
The Knighton families were also members of the High Hills of Santee Baptist Church as Mason Greening & Wife at the same time.]
