He left a will dated 1 Nov 1682 at Hampton, Rockingham County, NH, which mentioned his wife (unnamed), son-in-law Jeames Perkins and wife Leah "his now wife," daughter Mary Godfree, daughter Sarah Norris, and daughter Rachell Rawlings.

If Moses was born in 1594 (per age at death), his first child was born when he was about 45 and his last child when he was 67. There also seems to be some confusion between this Moses and the Moses born 1649. The Hampton vital records state, "Moses ye Sonne of Moses Cox & Ann his wyfe was born ye (2d) (9th) Mo. 1649." More research needed.
