Morris James McEntee Services for Morris James McEntee, 80, of Hillsboro will be hel d Friday at 2 p.m. at Donelson, Sewell & Hammack with Bishop Nea l Davisson and Elder Spencer Childs of the Church of Jesus Chris t of Latter Day Saints officiating. Dr. Walter Richardson wil l be soloist and Esther Jones, musician. Pallbearers will be Darrell Newby, Dick Smurthwaite, Herbert Sch midt, Curly Evans, Dale Barber and L. C. Fox. Interment will be in Northwest Memorial Gardens. Mr. McEntee died Monday at his home. He was born April 21, 1885, in Popo [sic], Mich., the son of Ste phen C. and Elizabeth Tanswell McEntee. He was married to Roxi e Craig July 5, 1918, at Albion Idaho, and they had lived in Hil lsboro for 40 years. He was a member of Hillsboro ward Church of Jesus Christ of Latt er Day Saints and had been a salesman for various companies fo r many years. Survivors include the widow at home; two daughters, Mary Jane Se lfridge of Vancouver, Wash., and Shirley Parson of Hillsboro; tw o sons, Morris J. Jr. of Newport and Stephen Craig McEntee of Re dding, Calif.; 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Sailed around Cape Horn as a mess boy on the "Erskine M. Phelps"@@S691@@
