    A transcription:

    In the name of God Amen I Morris Davies of the parish of Tref Eglwys in the County of Montgomeryshire Diocese of Bangor, being sick and weak in body but of full and perfect memory praised be God And calling to mind the mortality of my body and that it is appointed for all men once to die Do make and ordain this my Last Will and Testament, That is to say Chiefly and first of all I Bequeath my Soul into the hands of Almighty God my Creator and Jesus Christ my Redeemer by whose merritts death and passion I hope for pardon and Salvation and my Body I Bequeath to the Earth to be decently Buried according to the discretion of my Executors hereafter named and as for such worldly Goods as it hath pleased God to endue me I give and Bequeath in manner and form following

    Imprimis I give and Bequeath unto my Daughter Hester Davies the sum of fifty pounds and my Dresser to be paid unto her when she shall attain to the age of Twenty one years

    Item I give and Bequeath unto my Son John Davies the sum of Ten pounds and my Clock

    Also I give and Bequeath unto my Daughter Elizabeth the wife of Edward Savage the sum of five pounds

    Also All the Rest of my Goods Chattels and Creditts I give and Bequeath unto my well beloved wife Hester Davies and my Daughter Anne Davies to be equally divided Betwixt the both and if my said Daughter Anne Davies shall happen to depart this life before she attain to the age of Eighteen years my will is that her part or portion shall be Equally divided Between such of my aforementioned children as shall be alive att the time of her death And my will is furth that if my said wife shall happen to die before my said Daughter Anne shall come to years of maturity That I nominate and appoint Edward Savage and my son John Davies to be trustees to take care of my said Daughter Anne till she come to the aforesaid age of Eighteen years

    Also I nominate and appoint my aforesaid wife Hester Davies and my aforesaid Daughter Anne Davies to be Executrix’s Jointly of his my Last Will and Testament Revoking and making Void all other wills by me or for me before ever made.
