Married, doubtless early in 1690, Miriam, widow of James Blackman, dau. of Moses Wheeler. She was b. 28 Mar. 1647.'
↑ According to researcher Avis (Wheeler) Tartero, 1647 is a misreading of the original record, and it should be 1637. However, this would put Miriam at age 53 when her last child was born. Also, the Stratford VR's do not begin until 1639. Therefore, the reading of 1647 appears to be the correct one.
