Mrs. Minnie Betche, 83, a native of Germany, died suddenly Friday at the home of a son, Charley Betche, whom she was visiting in Gotebo. She resided in El Reno at the home of a son, Fred Betche, 617 South Rock Island avenue.
Mrs. Betche came to America at the age of 14 years and is a pioneer in the making of this county, making her home near Union City for a number of years until the family came to El Reno two years ago. She was preceded in death by her husband and one daughter.
Besides the two sons, Mrs. Betche is survived by four other children, Mrs. Minnie Ledaux of El Reno; Mrs. Lizzie Bierdstedt, Fenton, Iowa; Henry Betche, Minco; Mrs. Alvena Boevers, Yukon.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Union City Methodist church with Reverend Werner of Orlando in charge. Burial will be in the Union City cemetery.
