Mildred was Director of Public Health Nurses for the city/county of El Paso, Texas. She retired after 30 years at the age of 65.

KRAUSS

Mildred H. Krauss, 79, passed away Sunday, Dec. 4, 1988. She was a Member of the St. Mark's United Methodist Church and the Texas Nurse's Association. Mrs. 

Krauss was a nurse with the Health Dept. of the State of Texas and was Nurse of the Year.  Survivors:  Daughters, Virginia Ball, Helen DuVall, both of El Paso, Johnnie Wygat, Delaware; Brother, Jack Leggitt, California; Sisters, Clara Smith, California, Kate McDaniel, Cheyenne, OK, Mae Finney, Topka, Kansas; 8 Grandchildren; 2 Great Grandchildren. Graveside Funeral Service will be held Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. at the Restlawn Cemetery, Dr. David Z. Ring, III, officiating.  Arrangements by Harding-Orr & McDaniel Pershing Drive.
