MICHAEL WILLAX.
After a lingering illness from general debility Mr. Michael Willax, 80 years old, died at his home at Willax's Park, Lauraville, early yesterday morning. He is survived by a widow, Mrs. Teresa Willax ; a son, Mr. Charles J. Willax, and three daughters, Mrs. Joseph Ayd, Mrs. Frank Rhodes and Mrs. George Riley.
Mr. Willax was born in Tannesberg, Bavaria, and came to this country in 1857. He engaged in the dyeing and scouring business and established himself at 560 North Gay street. About 10 years ago he retired, and his business is now conducted by his son. Since his retirement he had been proprietor of the park at Lauraville which bears his name.
