I, Michael Slimp, do make and publish this as my last will and Testament hereby revoking an d making void all other wills by me at any time made.
FIRST: I direct that all my debts be paid as soon after my death as possible out of any mone y that I may die possessed of or may first come into the hands of my heirs.
SECONDLY: I give and bequest unto my beloved wife Nancy Slimp, my house and plantation or a s much there of as she made need during her natural life of widowhood, with a wagon and hors e and farming tools sufficient to carry on the farm.
THIRDLY: I also bequeath to my wife all my debts that I have coming to me when they are coll ected to dispose of the money as she may think proper.
FOURTHLY: At the death of my wife I bequeath to my four youngest boys to wit; David, Fredric k, Andrew and Martin all my undivided lands for them to divied as they may think proper, an d my desire is that they would all stay on the farm and work together and take care of thei r mother.
FIFTHLY: I bequeath to my daughter a horse, saddle and briddle, and cattle, sheep and hogs a nd house-hold furniture sufficient for housekeeping.
SIXTHLY AND LASTLY: I bequeath to William Gambill the fifty acres of land where he now live s for five years or as long as he may wish to stay there to have free and peaceable possessio n.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I do to this my last will set my hand and seal this February the 14th, 18 46.
