BOYNTON, Meribah, d. Jonathan and Elisabeth, [born] Oct. 8, 1742. PR2
BOYNTON, Mary, d. Jonathan and Elizabeth, [born] Oct. 8, 1745.
[Note: PR2="Record kept by Rev. James Chandler and Rev. Isaac Bramen, pastors of the Second Church". Both Mary and Meribah are mentioned in the father's will, but the daughter Mary is younger based on the order of the names, and her birth is found in Lunenburg in 1761. So these two records appear to be a single child. See also p. 2 of original? town copy?, where the births of Elizabeth, Mary, and Jonathan are recorded. The births are recorded in a group, so probably after the fact. The minister's records are presumed the more correct because they were probably more contemporaneous to the actual events. They also provide a more typical birth pattern (in particular they don't leave a three year gap before the first child is born.)]
