  4.   Source:Temple, Josiah Howard. History of the Town of Northfield, Massachusetts, for 150 Years, p. 438, says this child, "Mary" in the text, d. young. One might normally suspect this is assumption due to the birth of a daughter Mary in 1725 (per Deerfield records), but Temple does not show this second daughter in the family. Therefore, the basis for his statement is unknown. No actual death record is found in either Deerfield or Northfield records. Her age at death, according to Dexter, is consistent with her birth being in 1717.
