Melinda Moody b approx 1810 Ky need info re where she died and proof, parentage etc.
Now I believe her parents were John Moody/Nancy Watterson of Monroe Co Ky. John is on the 1810 Cumberland Co census with seven femailes of which five are under 10 and could be Melinda. 1820 still in Cumberland Co pg 141, He is on the 1830 census in Tompkinsville, Monroe Co only six houses from Melinda's husband Edward Pendleton Hughes. 1840 Census Monroe Co.pg 245. John supposedly died about 1843. I located land records for him 1806 15 acres on Cumberland River, 1818 50 acres on the Cumberland and 50 acres on Meshacks Creek and another 50 on Mashack Creek in 1838. Of course nothing in land or census names his family. His widow Nancy received his land in 1843 and she is enumerated in 1850
