[edit] ProbateIn the Name of God Amen the Twelfth day of January Anno Domini One Thousand Seven Hundred & Fifty Seven. I Mehetable Brigham Of Marlborough in the County of Middlesex Widow being advanced in years and Labouring under many Bodily Infirmities but of a Sound & Disposing mind and memory Thanks be given Unto God: Therefore calling unto mind the Mortality of my Body and knowing that it is appointed for Men once to Die, Do make and Ordain this my Last Will & Testament That is to say Principally and first of all I Give and recommend my Soul to God that gave it; and my Body I Recommend to the Earth, to be Buried in Decent Christian Burial at the Discretion of my Executor; Nothing doubting but that at the General Resurrection I shall Receive the same again by the Mighty Power of God. And as Touching such Worldly Estate wherewith it hath Pleased God to bless me in this life I Give, Demise and Dispose of the same in the following manner and form- I Will and Give unto my Son in Law Benj'a Brigham of Marlborough Husbandman and to his Heirs forever all my Household Goods Such as Beds & Beding, Pewter, Brass, Iron & also all my wearing apparrel with all my Bond Bills or Notes and all the Money which I shall Die Siezed and Possessed of Together with all or any other Estate which I shall Died Siezed & Possessed of for his Prudent care and attendance upon me Since my Late Husbands Decease - whom I also Constitue make and ordain Sole Executor of this my Last will & Testament And I do hereby utterly disallow Revoke & Disannul all & Every other or former wills Legacies & Bequests by me in any way before Willed and Bequeathed Ratifying & Confiming this & No other to be my Last will and Testament In witness wherof I have hereunto set my Hand and seal the Day & Year above written.
