  10. Hugh Grossman Carnahan was remarried on 2 Nov 1911 to a Ruth M Emerson. Either May Pearl and Hugh divorced between 4 Mar 1911 and 2 Nov 1911 or May Pearl died. A Standard History of Kansas and Kansans lists "May Pearl" (no spousal name) as a living child in 1918, which would lean toward a divorce. Unfortunately, other information given in that source concerning the children of William B. Clark is erroneous, so this is not definitive.
