Max G. Minor, age 84, of Cincinnati, OH, formerly of the Polish Village in Toledo, died Friday, April 6, 2001, in Cincinnati. Max was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to many. Max will be remembered for the twinkle in his eyes, his warm smile, and the kindness he gave to all he met. Those that knew and loved him will miss his sense of humor and his lively spirit.

Max was formerly active in the St. Adalbert's Holy Name Society, Boy Scout Troop 1, Fourth Ward Old Timers, Toledo Newsboys Association, Polish Falcons Nest #92, Polish National Alliance, Lagrange Business Professional Men's Association, former president of the Exchange Club of North Toledo, vice president of the Kiwanis Northwest, the Eagles, AARP, and Knights of Columbus #4169 3rd Degree and #807 4th Degree. He retired in 1981 after 27 years from the former First National Bank of Toledo where he was assistant vice president and branch manager of the Lagrange Street branch.

Max is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Pearl. Also surviving are his two sisters, Adeline Stanish and Betty Pietrzak; his three sons, Ronald (Patricia) Minor of West Bloomfield, Michigan, James (Anita) Minor of Cincinnati, OH, Robert (Sharon) Minor of Sylvania, OH; his eight grandchildren, Scott, Kevin, Keith, Rob, Amanda, Andrea, Jamie, and Jessica, and his great-grandson, Jonathan. A Memorial service and Mass for Max will be held in Toledo on May 12, 2001, at St. Adalbert's Church at 12:00 p.m. Memorials may be given to St. Adalbert's Church or Hospice of Cincinnati - Blue Ash.
