Bio: Mavis (Deana) Johnson Miley, 71, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, July 4, 2007 at St. Dominic Jackson Memorial Hospital. Visitation is 5-7 p.m. today at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services are 10:00 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home chapel with burial in Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Miley was a homemaker who loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald L. Miley; parents, Harvey and Effie Stanley; and brother, E.F. Stanley.
Survivors include son, Keith Johnson and wife Julie, of Brandon; daughters, Sherry Dodson, of Jackson, Sheila Jenkins and husband Terry, of Jackson, and Angela Dawn Hosey and husband Duke, of Madison; brothers, Paul Stanley, of Brandon, Grady Stanley, of Koscuisko and Jimmy Stanley, of Koscuisko; ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She will be remembered for her love of family and friends and for her laughter.
