    Ms. Maudra E. Townsend of Larose, Louisiana, died February 22, 2014, at 9:32 in the morning, at her home, with her beloved family around her. She was 90 years, 2 months and 3 days old. Ms. Townsend was the daughter of the late Jules Francis and Adveline Marie Gautreaux. She was a homemaker; an avid Louisiana State University fan; and Atlanta Braves fan.

    Ms. Townsend was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband: Alton Earl Arnold; 4 brothers: Allie Gautreaux, Felman Gautreaux, Sanders Gautreaux, and Burris Gautreaux; 4 sisters: Felma Gautreaux, Essie (Gautreaux) Landaiche, Enid (Gautreaux)Braud, and Margaret (Gautreaux)Rowell; 2 grandchidlren: Joseph Gremillion, and Ashley Arnold.

    She is survived by 2 sons: Glann Arnold, and his wife: JoAnn and Garry Arnold and his wife: Margaret; 2 daughters: Adveline Herbert and Elena Verdin and her husband: Steve; 10 wonderful grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 10 step-great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; 1 step-great-great-grandchild; other relatives; and many dear friends.

    A private service was held and she was laid to rest at Hope haven Garden of Memory Cemetery in Gonzales, Louisiana.

    Pallbearers were: Steve Verdin, Garry Arnold, Glenn Arnold, Jeremy Taylor, Drew Pertuit, and Cody Wall.

    Honorary pallbearers were: Carl Savoy Jr. and Kenny White.
