Baptized in 1801 / July 5 / Matilda dau[ghte]r of John and Mary / Packham of Pains

This baptism has been linked to the Matilda Packham who married John Wright in Brighton in 1820 on the basis that one of the witnesses to the marriage was a Euphemia Packham, and the Matilda baptised in 1801 had an older sister called Euphemia, whilst when Matilda died in 1821 aged 20 she was buried back in Cuckfield, with her last abode given as Brighton.
