Obit - DEATH OF AN OCTGENARIAN - MRS. MATILDA DYE, one of the pioneer women of this county, died at the home of her daughter, MRS. J.C. HAPPERSETT, on West Reynolds street, Sunday morning at 1 o'clock. At the time of her death she was almost four score and one year of age, and the greater part of her life was spent here in this county. She was a devout member of the Methodist church and her clear religious experiences were always interesting. The funeral will take place Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock from the residence of J.C. HAPPERSETT on west Reynolds street. The remains will then be taken to Mechanicsburg for burial.]
