[The identification of Mary's mother as Ruth Peabody is repeated in Source:Cutter, William Richard. Historic Homes and Places and Genealogical and Personal Memoirs Relating to the Families of Middlesex County, Massachusetts, Vol. 3, p. 978. But it appears wrong. There is no marriage record found for Josiah Wood and a Ruth Peabody, but there is for Josiah Wood and Ruth Walker.]

Spin[n]er" names "my Eldest Daughter Marcy Johnson", "my Eldest Son Ebenesor Reed", "my son Simeon Reed", "my son Jonas Reed", "My daughter Abigal Dean", "my youngest son Jotham Reeds Children", "my youngest Daughter Kesiah Reed", [friend] John Augustus, "my friend James Reed the Sole executor".
23 Apr 1813 James Reed of Burlington renounces said trust of execution of will of "Mary Reed late of said Burlington, widow, deceased".
28 Apr 1813 "being all the Children & heirs at law to the Estate of Mary Reed late of Burlington" petition for approval: Ebenezer Reed, Simeon Reed, Lemuel Dean in the right of his wife Abigail Dean, Mary Johnson.
