  4. That this is the Mary Wilson who married Nathan Clark is shown by the will of John Wilson dated 1788, where he names a daughter Mary Clark {Suffolk Probate 19082]. There is an intention found in the Dedham records, Vol. 1, p. 117: "John Cuningham & Mary Willson, both liuing in Dedham, Octo'r 19th, 1749". Source:Stevens, Ken. Descendants of Henry Wilson of Dedham, Massachusetts, p. 22, apparently assumes this is a first marriage of Mary, and that Nathan is her second husband. However, she marries Nathan as Mary Wilson, no actual marriage record is found, no births to a John & Mary Cunningham, no probate for a John Cunningham, no death record for John Cunningham. So barring further evidence, if this intention is her (and Mary Wilson would not be an uncommon name, so it well may not be) then it appears the marriage never happened.
