In Wellsville, N. Y., Aug. 14th, 1865, Mary Ann Green, wife of Asa Green, in the 52d year of her age. Sister Green, in early life, professed religion, and united with the Second Seventh-day Baptist Church of Alfred, of which she remained a worthy member for twenty-seven years. Her disease was consumption; and for several of the last years of her life, she was a great sufferer; but with almost superhuman patience, she uncomplainingly bore all her many sufferings, and through them all, manifested a firm trust in the God of the faithful, and died in the full assurance of a blissful immortality beyond the grave.
