    Mary E. (Vickers) McLaughlin, 89, of Xenia, died Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2011 at Greene Oaks Health Center.

    She was born Oct. 28, 1922 in Manchester, Tenn., the daughter of Calvin and Maggie Disque Vickers.

    She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law; two sisters-in-law; several nieces and nephews in Tennessee and the Thurston area; and many close friends.

    She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Wilmer D. "Mac" McLaughlin, on Sept. 6, 2007; and three brothers and a sister-in-law, Houston Vickers, Paul (Juanita) Vickers and George Vickers.

    Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 16 at the Neeld Funeral Home in Xenia. Burial will be in Valley View Memorial Gardens.

    Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
