PENNIMAN, Mary, w. of Dea. Natha, [died] Sept. 11, 1759.
↑ Few Penniman sources (e.g., Source:Penniman, George Wallace. Penniman Family, 1631-1900, or the several Cutter books that cover him) seem to identify Mary past what is known from the marriage record and her death soon after. Based on Bellingham VRs, a likely candidate, might be the Mary Cook who m. 1710 Joseph Holbrook. She seems to be the only mother named Mary found in the Holbrook births of Bellingham that would be an appropriate age. Joseph Holbrook d. 1750 in Bellingham. She was the daughter of Nicholas Cook and Joanna Rockwood, b. Mendon 1690, per NEHGR, Vol. 163, p. 68, but they don't mention any second marriage, either, so this remains speculation.
