[Note: the similarity of these numbers suggests they are the same event recorded with both the old-style and new-style years. Supporting this is 1) the lack of a death record for the "first" Mary, 2) birth of Thomas in Dec 1727 would be nearly impossible if a daughter Mary was born Mar 1726/27, and similarly if not so difficult, the birth of Ebenezer Dec 1723 makes Mar 1724/25 a tight fit, while one daughter Mary born Mar 1725/26 would fit the typical pattern of births in colonial families.]
