    "Mary Tibballs, b. say 1642, bp 11 February 1643/4 [MilfordChR 2]. … (Savage stated that his daughter "probably died young," and that it was a later daughter named Mercy who married Nicholas Smith [Savage, 4:298]. However, both the marriage record and her father's will give Mary as the name of the wife of Nicholas Smith, and the date of marriage is appropriate for this daughter Mary, baptized in early 1644, so there was no daughter Mercy. Nicholas Smith also appeared in a few records as Nicholas Seversmith [TAG 16:38-41, 25:94].)"
