In Brookfield, Madison Co., N. Y., on the 12th of October, Mrs. Mary Ann Coon, wife of DeWitt C. Coon, and daughter of Ezra Stillman, of Newport, N. Y., aged 36 years. Sister Coon professed religion and joined the Seventh-day Baptist Church at Newport a number of years ago, with which church she remained a worthy member until her marriage with brother Coon, when she united with the 3d Seventh-day Baptist Church of Brookfield, and continued a worthy member until death removed her to join the church above. In her sickness she was impressed with the certainty that she should not recover, and manifested a perfect resignation to the divine will. Her death was triumphant.
