    Mary Summach (nee: Stark) , of Grande Prairie Date of Death: June 27th, 2002

    “Grieve not that I am gone, Rejoice that I was here”.
    Mary Summach, resident of Grande Prairie, Alberta went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Thursday June 27, 2002 at the age of 83.

    She was born to John & Mary Stark on April 4, 1919 in Gelliebenuchel, Wales. On April 26, 1926 her family landed in Montreal by boat and after a train ride across Canada they arrived in Grande Prairie on May 5, 1926. Their new home was near Bezanson where she grew up.

    Left to cherish her memory are her four children: <names of living individuals have been removed>, cousins, nieces & nephews both here and in Wales, the Summach families and many friends.

    She was predeceased by her husband, Lester, an infant daughter, infant granddaughter, her parents, two sisters and two brothers.

    Family & friends wishing to pay their respects may do so at Oliver’s Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, 10005-107 Avenue, Grande Prairie, Alberta on Monday, July 1, 2002 at 7 p.m. Funeral service for the late Mary Summach will be held at McLaurin Baptist Church, 10315 - 114 Ave. Grande Prairie, on Tuesday, July 2, 2002 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow in the Grande Prairie Cemetery.

    In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the W.W. Cross Institute or the University Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

    Mary's daughter has confirmed that the first entry qualified as Neath Port Talbot is where Mary and her granddaughter visited when they went to Wales.
