    [Clearly, Mrs. Bolton think the records are deficient, since she suggests a birth 10 years earlier than recorded (the recorded date would make her a twin with Naomi, but this also suggests the possibility of a copying error giving Mary Naomi's birthdate). There is barely much space in the spot where Mrs. Bolton wants to put Mary, and it seems unlikely. Babson, makes no mention of any Mary in this family at all.]
