Research notes

  • Mary Agnes Seitzinger, usually referred to as Agnes in historical sources, had several children with Dr. William Wetherill. Thomas Foster Seitzinger (1853?-1907) who married Maggie Partenheimer, and Mary Agnes Seitzinger (1851-1907) who married Charles Vanluvanee. She lived over 17 years with Dr. Wetherill at his estate Fatland, in Montgomery County where she died June 16, 1867.

    SEITZINGER - On Sunday morning at the residence of Dr. William Wetherill, Montgomery County, Miss Mary Agnes Seitzinger, in the 38th year of her age. The relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral, this day (Thurs) at 11.30 o'clock am. Interment at Montgomery Cemetery in Norristown. Carriages will meet the trains at Port Kennedy.
