    The funeral of Mrs. Jennie Remalia-Renwick, who died on Thursday morning at the Glidden hospital in DeKalb after a long period of failing health, was held at the late home on Mason court in Sycamore on Saturday morning, Dr. H. S. Roblee, pastor of the Federated church officiating, and the remains were interred in Brush Point cemetery in Mayfield township.

    Mrs. Renwick was a daughter of William and Mary Ann Rote Remalia and was born in Mayfield township April 8, 1870, and there resided until about ten years ago when she became a resident in Sycamore. She was united in marriage to Herbert Renwick, also of a family of early residents of that vicinity in March, 1894. He died on Dec 2, 1914.

    Mrs. Renwick is survived by two sons and two daughters, Raymond and Harley Renwick of Sycamore, Mrs. Harold Beamish of Aurora and Mrs. harold Patterson of Genoa. She also leaves surviving four grandchildren, one sister Mrs. Charles Nichols of Sycamore and one brother E. W. Nichols of Mayfield.

    Mrs. Renwick was of modest demeanor, kindly and highly regarded by all. She was a consistent member of the Congregational church, active in the Legion Auxilliary and an interested member of the Sycamore Woman's club.
