    Mrs. Mary Anne (nee Ripley) Zollman was the daughter of Matthias & Barbara Ripley and the wife of William Zollman of 1786-1834.

    From Wilbur B. Zollman's book of the Zollmans of Virginia:

    William and Mary Anne are said to have lived on the Galbraith Farm near Natural Bridge until about 1816 when they moved to a farm about five miles south of Lexington, Virginia on Buffalo Creek. They established a grist mill, gun shop, carding mill and a distillery.

    After her husband William died when the youngest of 11 children was just two years old, Mary Anne is reported to have married Madison Kenney.
