Wyman's entry on John Rand adds [#1] after Mary Randall. On Vol. 2, p. 798, this refers to Job Randall who m. (2) Mary Ridley, and she was taxed as a widow in 1729, "m. ? (2)" John Rand in 1730. The marriage record to Job Randall is dated 18 May 1720. In William Ridley's probate file (Middlesex 19218), administration is granted to Mary Ridley single woman on 18 Apr 1720, and on 1 Jun 1721, the account of "Mary Randall (allias) Mary Redley" adm'x "of her hon'rd ffather William Redley late of Charlestown" was approved, Job Randall adm'x husband is noted as present. Wyman also covers a family called Ridland on the same page as the coverage of Ridley. It is striking that they both have husbands named William, and the Ridland family has a daughter Mary b 9 Jan 1672 in Charlestown records, while Mary Ridley's age at death places her birth about 1672.
