    Bio: Marry was the daughter of Wendell J. Pier and Anna E.(Dokoupil) Pier Mary Ann Pier, 92, a resident of Garvey Manor Nursing Home, Hollidaysburg, formerly of Blandburg and Johnstown, died Friday at the home.She was born in Blandburg, daughter of the late Wendell J. and Anna E. (Dokoupil) Pier.Surviving are a niece and a nephew. She was preceded in death by three brothers: Stephen, the Rev. Andrew and Monsignor Joseph; and an infant sister, Mary. Mary Ann was a graduate of Reade Township High School and was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Frugality.A funeral Mass was celebrated Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2014, at St. Joseph's Chapel at Garvey Manor, Monsignor Robert Saly officiating. Interment was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Glasgow.Arrangements were by McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow.
