    Mary Stuart Moffett is the daughter of James Moffett and Mary Stuart. She married Alexander Tedford Barclay, Sr. on the 21st Nov 1826 in Augusta County, Virginia. She was his second wife. They are believed to have not had any children together that survived.

    Nancy Poage was his first wife and Mary Eleanor Paxton was his third on 21 Mar 1833.

    Her above ground crypt is seen in front of Alexander's large monument, in line with it in photo.

    My kin saved a 23 Nov 1848 Valley Star, Lexington, VA newspaper for a brother's obit and her kin Mary's husband Alexander T. Barclay's estate sale is also listed in it. He married 3 times. I posted a photo of part of the sale and transcribed it on his site photo caption. It took up the entire right side of the paper.
