On 7 Jul 1645, "John Condell [sic] of Boston and Mary his wife" sold the house they lived in to William Davis, and on 9 Oct 1645 (quote): William Davis petitioned the court for assurance that his mother, who had the estate of William Davis, including the house and lands, in her hands and in the hands of "John Cowdell by marriage with her," would pay the portions due to him and his "brother and sisters," this portion to be acknowledged as separate from the property William Davis had just purchased from his step-mother and her husband.

Mary must have died before 1 On 24 Oct 1666, when the general attorney made an indictment "against Joan Cowdall, the wife of John Cowdall of Newport for that she did Ausault Beate and Lame the wife of Wm Wodell."
